When i first saw the title of the book, which is A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, I thought the story was childish and some kind of drama. But, when i read the synopsis at the back, it was really unexpected because the story is all about ghosts haunting a character in Christmas Eve. So, I read the introduction of the book and I found out the true meaning of the story, A Christmas Carol. It's not just about the ghosts haunting the character but its also about the poorest and most hopless character of Charles Dickens finds reasons to be joyful and cheerful in their season of want. I think Dickens wants the readers to realize something about life through this book and he demonstrated that even those who are disappointed and not contented with their life can transcend their sorrow. One kind deed, compassionate act and one thoughtful gesture can change a person's life. So, I think that I will like this book because even the introduction of the story was interesting, the synopsis and the story itself is interesting and worth reading for. Also, I really like ghostly books and stories that it caught my interest. :D
